Italian Sausage - choose your old heat preference

Garlic - minced

Yellow onions - chopped

Canned Italian pear tomatoes - small pieces

Beef broth

Red wine
You can use water as a substitute

Cheese tortellini noodles
Use bowtie noodles as a substitue
Instructions
In a large Dutch oven brown the sausage and drain the excess fat
Add onions and garlic and cook until clear
Stir in tomatoes, broth, wine, and spices/seasonings
Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes
Add green peppers, zuchinni, parsley, and noodles
Cover the pot and simmer for an additional 25 minutes
Notes
Garnish the soup with fresh parmesan cheese or grated swiss cheese. Yum!
